WoW [95]

Waiting on Wednesday [WoW] is a weekly event hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

What You Left Behind by Jessica Verdi
Expected Publication: August 1, 2015
Publisher: Sourcebooks

Synopsis...
What You Left Behind is about a teen wrestling with the guilt that if he hadn't gotten his girlfriend pregnant, she wouldn't have postponed her chemo treatments – and would still be alive. But as Ryden struggles to be a good father and grieve his girlfriend's death, he uncovers secrets that will make him reconsider every relationship in his life.

Why I Can’t Wait…
I love how we get to see the guys point of view on this one. When it comes to teen parents we only really see the females prospective and is a breath of fresh air. I sense the feels a comin’!

  1. This one sounds really good! You're right we normally don't get to see the guy's POV. I added it to my tbr list. Here's my pick.

  2. This is on my 2015 tbr list!! I remember when I first read the synopsis I was so excited that this would be from a male's perspective, I've never read anything like What You Left Behind before. I have a feeling this book will bring some tears to my eyes.

  3. Yup, sounds great, sounds like it also has the potential to be really emotional. :( But they're always the best. :)

  5. I think I added this one to my list just a couple weeks ago, and it still sounds really good. Compelling, and I completely agree about the pregnancy/girl's point of view thing. Great pick!!
