  9. Some really scary ones on this list! Love Rebecca and I've always wanted to read Dracula. I'm afraid of Amnityville Horror, and I've seen the movie Psycho. I haven't read Ten but I have read And Then There were None by Agatha Christie which was the original - great read! Good list thanks for stoping by mine too!

  10. I definitely want to read Ten - I've seen it on so many lists today, and I know it's based on my favourite Agatha Christie mystery. I haven't read Rebecca, although I have seen the film and if the book if anywhere near as creepy, I might have to sleep with the light on! And YES to Rocky Horror. Absolutely wonderful any time of year! :D

    1. I actually saw the movie Rebecca before I read it but its one of the few times the movie and book are both awesome. who doesnt love rocky horror? lol

  16. I can't believe I haven't checked out any of Edgar Allen Poe's works. I must fix that in the near future...have also been meaning to check out Miss Peregrine's Home for Pecuilar Children, the cover and premise sounds positively eerie!

  20. Wow, I haven't read a single one of these! I'm considering reading Ten, but I'm not 100$ sure if I'll thank myself for it afterwards! I get creeped out so easily that I have, so far, just decided to read ATTWK before, and see if I like it enough to consider reading a modern adaption!

  23. How did I forget about Miss Peregrine?! Ah, so disappointed in myself, that's perfect for Halloween! Also, I;m dying to read some Poe. I went to a lecture last night on Poe's influence on detective stories, so now that's all I want to read. Thanks for following me, I followed you right back! Great list.

  26. Oh, I love Poe! And since I'm kind of a YA fanatic, I have to recommend Nevermore by Kelly Creagh. The works of Poe play a big part in the story.

  27. Miss Peregrine is a really good choice! I'm not a huge fan of Poe's short stories (I love his poems, though), but they do fit the season. (: Ten is so creepy!
