Feature and Follow Friday

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This week’s question…

Tell us about one of your hobbies that is NOT reading.

MUSIC! Though I can’t play an instrument or sing a note I love it just as much. I love collecting vinyl lps. A few years ago I got a turntable for my birthday and ever since I’ve been getting records I LOVE. I’m huge fan of classic rock, 60’s and old school R&B music which is the perfect music to be heard on vinyl.

Here are some of my fave Lps.

Feel free to add me however you like…GFC, Bloglovin, Twitter, and/or Goodreads. Be sure to link me up to yours so I can follow back.

  1. I have (had) so many of these!! One of my Pandora stations is set to pretty much non-stop Billie Holiday. I could listen to her all day, and I guess sometimes I do ;-). Nice to connect with you!! Saw you on Twitter and thought I'd check out the website... the albums sure caught my eye. The Rolling Stones cover in my collection was High Tide and Green Grass....

  3. Wow, those are really cool! I forgot to mention in my hobbies that I have collected old 78 lps that are from the 30's and only hold one song on each side and when you play them it's fun to watch because they spin so fast and they are really thick..nothing like the 45's that are a lot smaller and thinner. :) I have a whole collection of Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra on the old 78's.

    Happy Friday!

  4. Wow this is a really unique hobby! I don't know a lot of people that collect vinyl lps, so truly I think this is quite awesome (plus I adore Etta James).

  11. Those are awesome! I love listening to music as well. Don't really have a particular favorite, but I tend to listen to country more than anything.. and some oldies b/c its what I grew up on!

  14. I got a turntable I could hook to the computer to make mp3 files. I need to start working on that again. I don't have a lot of vinyl, but I keep my eyes open for them at yard sales and such. It's a great hobby!
