  2. Decrease my TBR list is such a hard one! Especially taking part in memes like this, I keep adding to it much faster than I can read new books. However, I recently deleted a bunch of books from my TBR which I'd read Kindle samples of and decided they weren't for me after all. That was a good feeling!

Good luck with your goals. I also want to get to know fellow bloggers better. Here's my list: http://annabelsmith.tumblr.com/post/39982227770/top-10-tuesday-bookish-goals-for-2013

    1. It is hard. I tend to read the kindle samples also. Helps a bunch. There were books I thought I wanted them read the samples and realized I didnt.

  3. Every year I try to decrease my TBR pile but it never seems to work. I have a bit over 50 right now and if I bought nothing this year I could burn through it. I'm okay with that not happening. I like options, I guess!

  7. Decrease my TBR list

This is something I fear will never happen. There is just SO much out there and I want to read it all! I'm afraid I'll never be caught up.

  8. If you like ebooks, and you have a device that can read ePubs, you can try signing up to a library that has an ebook collection. I have subscriptions to 3 different libraries in my state (not just my local area) and it's reduced my book spending like you wouldn't believe.

  21. I love the 'continuing spreading the word about great books.' I think I'm going to make that a focus this year. Whenever my friends ask me what to read I freeze. I always smack myself after, like, 'you read great books all the time and talk about them on the internet, why can't you tell them to people in real life?!' Great list!
