Synopsis
Meet Hanna.

She’s the sweet-but-silent angel in the adoring eyes of her Daddy. He’s the only person who understands her, and all Hanna wants is to live happily ever after with him. But Mommy stands in her way, and she’ll try any trick she can think of to get rid of her. Ideally for good.

Meet Suzette.

She loves her daughter, really, but after years of expulsions and strained homeschooling, her precarious health and sanity are weakening day by day. As Hanna’s tricks become increasingly sophisticated, and Suzette's husband remains blind to the failing family dynamics, Suzette starts to fear that there’s something seriously wrong and that maybe home isn’t the best place for their baby girl after all.

My Thoughts
Baby Teeth is the oddest weirdest and craziest thing I have ever read. Hanna is definitely the evilest child I have ever read about in a book. We meet Suzette and her daughter Hanna, Hanna doesn’t talk and she doesn’t really like her mother. Hanna is all about trying to hurt and get her mother in trouble with her husband. However, Suzette’s husband doesn’t believe that his daughter is anything but an angel. When they are together she is nice and polite and loves him with all her heart. Hanna is trying her hardest to get her mother out of the picture since she can't stand her for no reason.

Suzette has always had medical problems growing up and now dealing with a child all day at home doesn’t help her but her husband doesn’t want Hanna in school until they find out exactly what is wrong with her. All of this added stress doesn’t help Suzette but she is determined to have her husband find out how Hanna really is treating her. She hates that she feels this way about her own child but she knows something is wrong with Hanna and that Hanna wants to hurt her she just wants someone to believe her and for Hanna to get help.

This story had me all over the place and all in a good way. I felt so creeped out the whole time I was reading this because Hanna is so evil and creepy. The things she thinks of her mother are so frightening that I couldn’t believe a child was thinking such evil thoughts, not to mention all the horrible things she does to her mother. There are a few things that I felt were so far fetched but overall I really did enjoy this novel. So if you are interested in something creepy and strange and definitely different than I highly recommend this wild read.
