And as their vacation romance grows, his reservations about starting something after getting burned by love are washed away like sand on the beach.

But once Paige and Lane land back home, will these polar opposites be able to forgive their feud and find lasting love?

My Thoughts

A very cute short novella all about second chances and trusting in love again. Paige is a single baker who has returned home to care for her father after the death of her mother. While back in her small hometown where her choice of suitors is slim pickings at best, she sees potential in new doctor next door.

At first Paige and Lane don't quite hit it off, it takes a little match making from friends and a few of her neighbors. The romance takes off after they are both ask to attend a wedding of a mutual friend. Flirtation takes over and both agree to go with it and have fun while on this tropical vacation.

After awhile both realize that they both know and what this to be more than just a fling. However will Lane's secrets destroy their happiness or will Paige accept him faults and all?

I thought this was a fun and great read to end my summer. It has all you want...a great love story, magical tropical backdrop and seeing if you can believe in love again after you've been hurt.

Great characters and writing, you cant go wrong with this read.
